Great little device, their are clips on the back for ridge tent style poles that can be removed with screws if not suitable for your tent. I did this with mine to prevent them from catching the tent material if one of the kids knocked into it. It also has a clip that you can use to hang it up from which is what I used. The rcd and circuit breaker with L.e.d. Indicator were a great piece of mind and the cable itself is highly visible which reduced the chance of trip hazard.
No complaints at all.

Remember you get what you pay for! I bought this because of the low price, almost half that of other similar products available. With the low price there are compromises. The main unit is well made and solidly built, the casing is made of hard plastic, whilst it will withstand minor knocks, I doubt it would hold up to any serious impact, so a bit of care in its storage will be required.

The sockets and dust covers are aligned horizontally, allowing unobstructive use of all 3 sockets. Others products I'd reviewed had them aligned vertically limiting simultaneous use of all the sockets with moulded plugs.

The unit has a power on led indicator, and a RCD test button (which should be tested before use and regularly to ensure it is still working). There are two pole clips on the back of the unit, and a rigid wire loop to hang the unit up.

The unit comes with a number of warnings:
1. The product is intended for temporary use, and should not be left unattended - I have broken this warning, and have run a cooler box constant with no issues - maybe I was lucky.
2. The cable has limited protection to damage, so avoid walking on it and under no circumstances drive over the cable! This is not heavy duty cable, so it is wise to check it for damage before each use.

The 15 metres of cable is a reasonable length, but easily gets tangled up after putting it away, a minor inconvenience given the price I paid. As with any electric cable it should not be coiled up when in use as this generates heat and can lead to fire, so keeping the cable out of the way of tiny feet and avoiding trips, so the warning to avoid walking on the cable was easy to follow, as such is unlikely to be an issue.

Whilst my charger plugs get warm, the mains unit and cable does not get warm, even when all 3 sockets are being used.

The product is rated at 230v, 50Hz with a maximum load of 16 Amps/230 Volts AC and 2000 Watts capacity. The 25 Amp RCD is set to trip out at 30mA.

If you are looking for a heavy duty product or one for prolonged use, then this is not the product for you. If you are looking for a product for occasional camping holiday for use with laptops, lighting, power to a 12v cool box and charging cameras, phones and alike, then I highly recommend this unit. I go camping 4-5 times a year, I'm sure it will give me a few years happy and safe power for my little devices/added comforts. Just make sure you follow the guidelines for use and you'll get 5 star service from it.

I found products like this for up to twice the price online and in stores so snapped this up as a bargain. The sockets are the right way around so you can access all 3 without cables fouling the socket below.

The lime green cable is highly visible and a really decent length. It has an on/off switch and a RCD so is great value. Works really well.

I knocked a star off because the sockets are quite a tight fit, the pole mounts are too large for modern poles (and most tents dont have poles internally any more) and because mine had a mark on one of the socket covers which wont come off.

That aside it is perfect!

Very happy with my recent purchase. Unit has ample cord and little red light to show when it's turned on. Was recommended to me by a friend because it is 16amp not the usual 10. Would recommend.

We like it. We did not find it necessary to keep it vertical. Only complain is that the plugs are very tight and you really need to yank it out which is rather annoying. Not a big problem though. While we like the 20meter length, we needed an extension on our second use.

I am a sparky and i can tell you now I couldnt make one for this price, just the rcd and msb module would be 30 quid. I have a small cruiser boat and I wanted to install a few sockets for fridge, steak grill machine etc for whem im in the marina and I estimated with hook up then fuseboard then a reel of cable etc im looking at 200 odd plus my labour. Then I see this browsing in their shop and bought it without hesitation. It looks good and a great design, the only draw back is the sockets dont have a switch but still gets a 5. I can even use it on my genny when out on the canal. The other comment said its only draw back is their are no poles in the tent to attach it to, their is also a hook to this for it to hang on , if ur tent doesnt have anything for things to hang on then I suggest buy a better tent lol.

Works well, plenty long enough lead for us (20m.)

Solidly built, had a coolbox and kettle running file, I think the "attach to pole" is so it's not sat on a wet floor (we had ours inside the tent) and all was OK. Could clip to a table leg if req.

Perfect! Does exactly what it is supposed to do! Plenty cable length to reach most power feeds and the added power protect gives additional confidence. Like all power appliances, keeping it away from water is a must so keep it raised. I use mine in a tent which has a sealed ground sheet but I still keep it off the floor (on a pair of shoes or similar). My only gripe is why change the colour of the cable - what was wrong with the standard orange? Are we paying more for the nice lumo green?

I am returning to camping after a break and Bought this so that I have protection when using power when camping (never used to do this when camping 15 years ago). Should do what it says but instructions say it should be attached to a tent pole presumably to keep it off wet floors but how many tents have poles inside these days. Mine are outside. Will hopefully be able to attach to a table leg. Yet to use it as waiting for better weather.
