zip broke after using the tent twice and the compartments inside aren't waterproof water got in from the roof.

Have used this a few times camping and done the job. Easy enough to put together and enough space for 2 adults and 2 kids (might be a bit tight for 4 adults) .

Bought this to take my 8 yr old son camping, thinking it's ideal as he gets to have his own bedroom! However I've found it difficult to put up by myself - just can't get poles to bend into sockets.

Got this tent 2 years ago and never been let down. Rain or shine this tent is great. Easy to put up, not heavy and you have the option to leave out a compartment for storage of goods. Easy to find to!

Good design principle. But even at the lowest offered price they are so poorly built that even the very low price point they are not worth having. Stay in a cheap B+B or YHA dorm etc. instead.

I’ve had this tent for a few years now. Ive personally never had any problems with it. The zips have always been secure but you do need to pay special attention when pitching that the outer shell is evenly spread and that the tension is even on all 4 corners and around the door.

It’s survived a very wet Glastonbury (16) and a very hot Glastonbury (17) and will be going to next years festivals too.

Although it survived a week of none stop rain straight out of the box, I’d recommend giving it a once over with some waterproofing spray as a precaution. I do this every year as part of its little service routine.

Just to add, it’s not really a 4 man tent, more roomy two man. I use one side to sleep and the other for gear. Also, the bugs can get into the main section easily as the air vents don’t seal properly.

All in all not bad of you can get for around £75.

I bought this tent at the end of last season for bike rallies this year. I have now used it three times and am getting rid of it. I am fed up with the zips. They burst apart when you are trying to fasten or unfasten the door, in fact they burst apart at random, I have, on four occasions, had the zip come apart with the pull still at the bottom. It does not seem to make a difference what tension the nylon is under. I have tried it loose and tight - no appreciable difference.
If you are mad enough to buy this tent, there is one essential you will need - new pegs. The bent wire tent pegs that come with it are totally useless, they bend at the slightest provocation.

Please do not be fooled, this is not a 4 man tent.

It will not accommodate 2 airbeds in each side despite the sales literature and the insistence of the store manager when I tried to return it.

Notwithstanding that, the tent is very poor quality; the zip kept jamming and the tent pegs appear to have been fashioned from paper clips.

Also be wary of anything sold as a ‘festival tent’. This seems to be the stores fall-back position in terms of poor quality.

We are on our second day of a 2 week trip to Scotland and the zip has broken 3 times already. Furthermore, after no more than a prolonged shower, there are leaks everywhere. The porch area is a puddle and as this isn’t bug proof, its now become a feeding ground for midges and wasps. The children’s bedroom has leaked and now all bedding and most of their clothing is wet. Finally, two adults in one section of this tent is not possible unless you are willing to be suffocated by the tent wall and lie dead straight for the entire night.

Used this as a pup tent for two teenage girls - the zip broke within the first hour - will be returning it asap for a refund - just read the other reviews & broken zips appear to be a recurring theme !

we actually did like this tent but the zip went on first use. we didn't over stretch it or put pressure on it. tried to fix it and used again but the third time it went again so took it back and swapped it for a bigger better tent.
overall we would have kept it if it wasn't for the zip. it was quite roomy and the colour made it easy to find!

Bought this tent twice for festivals and is perfect never had any issues. Had A LOT of rain the first year we used it and nothing leaked.

Put it up and the zip broke straight away. Now unusable. Shame I bought it in a shop having not read the reviews. Will be returning

They are not fit for purpose. The tents leak and the zips part.

We bought 8 tents for our scout group and we are sending all 8 back!

I would have given the tent a 0 star rating but I had to give it a 1 star rating to submit my review.

I could sell tents but added this to our collection as its a great tent for friends who want a bit of personal space. Your own wee sleeping capsule and a roomy central area for sitting out of the rain. Its a "4 man" tent but if there were 2 adults in each side, chances are you would be hitting the tent walls and thus letting in moisture, couple of kids would be fine. I was able to put this up myself no problems. Not sure id like to expose it to really bad weather though but ideal for what i used it for.

We bought two of these for our scout troop. Zippers went on the first outing. Unusable on the second. Really goes to show you get what you pay for - so buying these is really a false economy. You need to spend a bit more of you want a decent tent

The internal zips broke on our first outing, I know it wasn't going to be top quality for the price but I expected the tent to last us for some time at least. I will be asking for a refund.

This is a great tent. Easy to put up (though it did need 2 people), masses of space for 2 - I managed to get a double airbed in my side. It would be very intimate for 4 adults to share. I like the fact the middle section is a place to store kit and sit. This tent survived 3 days of torrential rain without incident. It won't last for ever - the zips are a bit on the lightweight side - but it certainly did the job for a couple of middle aged festival goers

I bought this for a two night running endurance event in July. It was the first time I had camped and so was very much a novice but I wasn't disappointed with my purchase. We had a LOT of rain over the weekend but the tent was great.
Personally, I would not recommend it for more than 2 people but you could get 4 in at a push.

I purchased an additional groundsheet but did not use it in the end. After a couple of practices in the garden, the tent was simple to put up and take down. Good value for money.
