More trouble than digging a hole
Same problem. Not enough room at bottom of waste pipe so clogs. Had to jam a stick in there and flush 20 times. Very dissatisfied
Good for the money
Bought this on offer as a cheap alternative. Does what it says on the tin. Easy to use. Followed the instructions and everything worked fine.
Carry bag makes it easy to transport too.
Decent buy with good features like the pressure release and can't complain for £50.
Very useful in the camper van
Bought this to replace a cheaper item bought years ago and to save night time trips to the bushes! the Pressure release valve is an added bonus, which releases the gas build up (nice!) and allows more into the waste tank. Was a little concerned when I read previous reviews, but not had any issues using this one, as long as you keep an eye on the fill levels.
Not fit for purpose
Bought this toilet for a night away in my campervan. Was ok to urinate in but as soon as toilet paper was used it clogged up and would not clear around bend Into waste tank. Not sure if I can return this toilet . Absolutely useless and terrible value also.
GO Outdoors says: Sorry to hear you weren't satisfied with the product. Having spoken to Vango about the issue they responded by saying that under testing they had not experienced any “flushing issues”. Also, their instructions are quite specific about adding water and flushing and waste fluids etc so hopefully this was not being used 'Dry'.
I was worried by the other reviews but found the toilet worked fine. I don't use a whole roll of toilet roll per flush so thats probably why it didn't block up for me.
