pretty good
Used these for a number of years for exploring places. Now much patched but still going and not too heavy. Yes, the soles are a bit soft but that can be useful when climbing.

They did say they were light weight and that's why I bought them. Unfortunately you can feel everything through them, great if you just want to stand on sand, I wouldn't want to walk on stones though.

Have seen reviews saying the wellies are too soft. Maybe, but the sole is very thick with good grip so that should help.
