Measuring tips
Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Feet: Measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Bought these to do dog walking. They're light and comfortable. Haven't worn them in the rain yet so don't know about water proofing.
Always sceptical
Bought these for my daughter to go on a residential expectant of total ruin on return. 5 days of all terrain and water included, they have continued to clean up and stay comfortable. Sturdy, rain-proof and a continuous good shoe ( until grown out of!).

Not waterproof
These are the second pair of shoes. First pair were so good that when they wore out I bought this pair without hesitation. My shoes are two weeks old and I've walked in them three times. Very comfortable but useless in rain or in wet grass. My old pair were brilliant, these are not.

Not enough sole padding and no arch support
No aeration, just 3hours walking my feet are wet, pale pink and starting to crinkle, and burning hot.
