Ultralight backpackers and space-saving campers will love the Alpine 400 by Rab. Made from durable materials and hand-filled in the UK with 400 grams of responsibly sourced duck down, the sleeping bag provides all the warmth and comfort you need during spring and summer expeditions.
A Trapezoid boxwall baffle construction maximises the down’s ability to loft while reducing cold spots for comfortable warmth throughout. It uses a narrow mummy-shaped fit and angled footbox to ensure the pack size remains as light and compact as possible.
When storing at home, use the provided cotton sack which will prevent the down from remaining tightly compressed for long periods and extend the performance of the sleeping bag.

Trapezoid boxwall baffle took me by surprise.
Sadly not the story I want to tell.
Unfortunately whilst taking this out for a night on the town, for some fine dining (boil on the bag), the Alpine 400 slunk away to stuff some stuff in its sack.
Comfort rating is quoted as -1C. I found it ok down to about 10C. Below that I get cold, even with merino leggings, top and socks, and a bag liner. Packs small and well made.
