Simply doesn't work...
Tried this on my recent Yorkshire 3 Peaks hike. Followed directions to a 'T'. Result was crunchy tasteless 'bits' in a tepid watery broth - absolutely grim. Will revert to warm in a big meals again.
I boiled water put into the packet left for 15mins but it only partly cooked was tasteless and crunchy.
