I’ve had 2 pairs of these boots. So comfortable but the upper started to come away from the sole on the 1st pair after 14 months, and the loop for the laces has come off after 8 months on 2nd pair.

I bought these boots as I understood them to be comfortable and waterproof. They are comfortable but not waterproof so I exchanged them them for another identical pair which are not waterproof either.

I bought a pair of these last year mainly for walking my dog through forest tracks. They are super comfy, light and fit well. However they leaked so I took them back and they were exchanged without any issue. Unfortunately the second pair leaked also. I haven't returned these as I live 40 miles away from Inverness. I wear them with sealskin socks now. It is disappointing as they are so comfortable but definitely not waterproof. I would not buy these again.

I have wide feet and achilles problems so struggle with footwear. I live in these boots. They are so comfortable. I prefer them to the shoe version. They did take a couple of weeks to get used to. ❤

As with other Merrell boots- very comfortable and supportive- but as other reviewers have said, if you walk through wet grass you’ll get soaking wet feet ( and will be able to wring your socks out)

Really comfy but after 3 weeks and first walk on wet grass socks are soaking wet. Will be returning, very poor for expensive boot.

Super comfy boots. I haven't had issues of them not being waterproof yet, although have walked in a lot of rain, so I'm hopeful. I do question whether they are imitation though as one of the boots has the brand name spelled incorrectly!!!

After buying Mammut and Berghaus boots I've finally found a boot that doesn't hurt my feet. I've not got particularly wide feet but need boots for work where I walk an awful lot. I've spent lots of money in the past only to find when you get to the real nitty gritty of working in them my foot condition comes back with a vengeance causing pain in my toes. I bought a lighter shoe for the Summer and was recommend Merrell, they were perfect so have invested in the boot for Winter. Unlike other reviews no leaks so far despite being on wet grass, hope it continues.

Bought upon recommendation of the store as I wanted a comfy, waterproof walking boot. Been wearing these for 3 days ( yes, 3 days! ) to walk my dog twice a day over fields and both boots are leaking around the toes.

Needless to say these will be returned and I don't consider them worthy of purchasing.

I love these boots. They are extremely comfortable for my size 8 wide feet, with a bunion. I have found mine are waterproof so far, walking through wet grass. Every opportunity to wear them I am wearing these rather than trainers etc. I walked approx ten miles in them last week with no problems, no rubbing or blisters. Just a really comfortable great boot. Super light weight walking boot, but not waterproof! Started wearing them in May, and once you start walking in wet grass you get wet feet.
