Don’t buy it

This really is a poor product for what it’s designed for. A small breeze and it will blow over. The poles bent and broke and the rope ties snapped. Utter waste of money seriously do not buy it

Did the job

Bought to cover paving from the rain whilst the cement dried and it did the job. Not the most stable and did need tying off - but what do you expect for £15.

Cheap for a Reason

Yes it's very cheap, but for a reason - it's pole construction is from the 1980's (the frame has 28 separate sections to slot together) ... & it's terrible if there is any sniff of a breeze

Freedom Trial Gezebo

Waste of money if there is the slightest breeze the poles will bend come out of the joints, and the plastic joints are just up to the job BBC weather states light breeze was told when I took it back not the weather for putting up a gazebo last all of 2 hrs...very disappointed

Good for a festival ?

In short, no.
If its windy, you will struggle to keep the poles from separating and the whole thing bending and falling apart.

We bought an extra set of tent pegs and about 5 rolls of ducktape to reinforce every single joint. Doing this, it lasted 5 days with decent wind buffeting it around.

If you can bodge it, it'll do for £20 but don't expect to be taking it home with you

Gazibo

We were generally happy with this for the price we paid,
We had it up for the bank holiday weekend, it kept the sun off and gave us a cosy place to sit for our family entertainment.
We have had our money's worth and every other occasion will be a bonus. It's back in the box as new for next year.

Great value

We bought this for a garden party and with the weather a bit unsettled. It is easy to put together...10-20 minutes on my own. Instructions very simple.

Ok but not great

I brought this to keep the heat rays off us while having a barbecue , it went up ok but the Velcro straps stitched in are done very poorly and can imagine this will be going back after several uses.

Amazing price - Barely strong enough to stand up

We bought this to try and keep working through some rainy weather. I did the job but only just. It leaked from the moment we put it up. Several of the poles were bent out of the box and most were not round and difficult to mate with the next pole. The steel is so thin, however, that it is easy to persuade the tubes to fit each other.
I would buy this product only if you think of it as a disposable single use product and I would never use it in anything above a breeze.

Awesome Value for Money

I'm confused by all these reviews.

I bought this Gazebo, for a piddling £20, to take to Leeds festival this year. It rained like it was the end of the world and yet this gazebo kept me, my 4 friends, and 12 nearby strangers who refused to leave dry for over 6 hours of almost biblical punishment.

It's a little flimsy, a couple of the poles were misshapen out of the box but just needed persuading with a tent peg. I thought if it lasted one night of rain, mild wind and wandering drunkards then it had been worth the £20.

It lasted 4 nights. We cowered under it. We hung soaking wet clothes from it. We built a fire under it. We welcomed strangers under it and turned away soggy campers when we reached capacity.

I did poke holes in the material all round the edges to help stop the water pooling on the top. We did still have to push puddles out occasionally, usually when Katie was getting out of her tent for maximum comedy.

The materials are cheap. The tarp is stretched and doesnt have the best stitching. It's easily torn. The poles are a little flimsy and bend under heavy weights.

But this is a £20 Gazebo. If you want a permanent structure then you're in the wrong place (and price bracket). If you want something thats going to keep you dry, out of the sun or to attract wet strangers then this is the £20 you should spend.

Absolute Rubbish

Not worth a penny! Bits missing, Velcro strips not stitched on properly. poles bent and damaged--I put it up in a very light breeze and it almost disintegrated. I only gave it one star because I couldn't submit the review without a rating.

Freedon Trail Gazebo

Absolute rubbish...don't but unless you want to use it twice in very light winds.....bought ours last year.

not great-only for milder condtions

lasted 3 days collapsed due to water pooling on the roof which snapped poles and sheared off the corner pieces only way we got 3 days use was using tape to fix it.
could do with a roof vent...
could do with draiange holes oin the tarp to stop pooling
worked ok with light rains but nothing too heavy

Fair buy

The frame was easy to assemble, when we put the roof cover on there was a large gap on the seam where the fabric hadnt been caught in to the seam so rather than return it I just sewed it on my sewing machine easily remedied.Over all very good for the low price but needs better anchoring down than was provided. So for that reason I rate it 4 stars.Good size and simple to erect

Freedom trail gazebo

this product is quite simply a waste of time. why produce or sell something of such poor quality? You might say 'you get what you pay for' but according to go outdoors this should retail at £40. Makes a mockery of the discountcard! Claims

Bang tidy for £20!

At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. If you want a good looking sturdy gazebo that can handle someone coughing in its general direction, don't get this. If however you want something cheap and cheerful to last a weekend festival - get this! (what we bought it for)
Excellent team building activity trying to erect the gazebo frame. You will require >3.14 brain cells between you for a successful erection.
As TopCatsGirl said, we thought the cover would provide some rigidity....it doesn't! To make it stable, you will need some duct tape and an engineering mind to stiffen the frame and to stop water pooling in the top.
Another added bonus which they should add to the list of features is its self collapsing function, which was great at the end of the weekend for rapid packing!

Overall, great purchase. Get one.

Gazebo

Bought the Gazebo for a weekend camping with some friends. Although cheap didn't expect the trouble I had with it took 3 people to put together and although secured with ropes and pegs still managed to bend over the first night and with a slight wind the second night ended with it turned upside down with as one of the plastic corners had cracked. Cant really recommend this purchase

Won't stand up!

We bought this as a replacement to a very similar one (we thought) we'd had for 7 years which had been up in all weathers at both home and out camping.
Thus one, however, was trouble from the start. It took 4 teenagers to try to hold the frame together so that they could put the canopy on, hoping that would give it some rigidity. It was a nightmare, as one joint was secured, another would come apart, but it was managed eventually.
When eventually erected, the guide ropes were attached (using pegs which bent immediately, even in soft, damp ground), even though the weather was pretty much non eventful, but the garden party was the next day, so we left it overnight.
The next morning, we woke to a drunk-looking gazebo! It had completely twisted, and would not straighten up no matter how hard we tried. We ended up having to tie two guide roles to the fence just to try to keep it upright. It was due to be a hit & sunny day, and we were relying in the shelter it would provide. Then the loops on the outer corners of the canopy which you tie the guide ropes to also broke!
Usually, we would leave the gazebo up in the garden for a great deal if the summer, but this one was released from the fence, collapsed in its own and was packed away the next day. Even at half price, this product is definitely not worth even a penny because it doesn't do what it says it does on the box! Will be taking it to the tip and looking for a replacement this weekend.
