very easy to put on very spacious inside
great value for the price
Decided to spend a bit on doe on a bivvy as opposed to a cheap tent!!! Thought for a 2 man this would be ok but was still weary as nowhere near the most exspensive on the market but i need not of been worried. Put up in less than minute (even in strong winds). Takes longer to put the pegs in. get some screw pegs though. Loads of space and completly waterproof. Highly reccommended...
Just done my first extended stay in this bivvy during the hottest days of the year. I found that the temps in the tent did not raise to uncomfortable levels but those zip pulls have all broken off through the bad design of the tabs. So parra cord has replaced them
This bivvy is amazing, up in under a minute, keeps me warm and dry and have woken up to snow on top of bivvy and was still fine structurly and kept warm all night. Good size and for the money cant complain. would recomend to anybody!! 10/10
Used my first 2 man tfg twice before the toggle on the zips fell off, although I was impressed with the way it put up with the 60/70 mph winds, returned to store and was replaced without any problems, first use of replacement, yes the toggle on the zips broke, I love the ease of the bivvy up and down but think the toggles should be metal and not plastic. But it held up to that wind no problems! I've also got the one man and never had any issues at all with that one.
I Brought this bivvy because of its speed a ease to put up, I like my space so two man was a must. My old bivvy would take so long putting all the poles together threading them through the loops ect,ect it was a case of needing two men to put up a two man,not the case with this one I have done a 24 hrs session in this now & 18 hrs was solid rain,I did notice Water was coming through the outer skin after 12 hrs but it never came through the inner as with most tents as long as the two layers don't touch there's no problem I was kept dry on this trip But I will be applying a waterproofing agent to make it a 5 star bivvy. I would recommend this for the money, speed & ease of use.
very pleased with this bivvy .larger than I thought and very easy to put up and take down . kept us dry and warm in some very wet weather .reasonable priced for what it is thank you tf gear and thanks to go out doors for the price. will recommend to friends.
I have just came back from Loch Lomond and it rained for ten days, high winds and this is the best bivvy out at the moment, very easy to put up and put down.only downside is the pegs I would change them to heavy duty.
I purchased this for my son having had mine for 3 seasons. This is a good budget priced product. Takes a little practice to master erecting the Bivvy and I find it impossible to match the time claimed by the manufacturer however it is not difficult. Plenty of room in the two man version. I had one broken rib early on which was probably due to my heavy handiness but the spare replacement service was 1st Class. Bearing in mind the price a very good buy.
Great product and does what it says, it take a few times to get the hang of it.
I have the oneman which is great as I fish the rivers and it perfect, I will be purchasing the twoman, as it looks awsome the twoman!!! I would recommend this bivvy!! What I would recommend is to waterproof it!!! This goes to all bivvies products, you can buy the waterproofing from goutdoors.
This is the worst fishing bivvy I have ever used.
TFGear claim it can be put up in seconds.
It took me 20 minutes, despite watching the TFGear video several times. , I am still unable to dismantle it completely.
I now find there are numerous complaints regarding this bivvy on Google.
getting rid of mine poles have snapped twice ,getting a pram style bivvy ,far easier to put up
Awesome bit of kit went night fishing the other week was really windy and did nuffing but rain while I was there,an I was bone dry an it's excellent 4 money it's a must have!!!
Brought this aweek ago. Very quick delivery. Pleased with item. Putting it up for the 1st time I did in garden. It took 2 mins to put up once you mastered were to stand and lift etc. then about another 2 mins putting pegs into ground. Aground tho, it's a great bivvy. Plenty of room for two persons to sleep in. The pegs are not brill. Getting better strong pegs is a must. It is reasonably good value.
Bought the TFGear Force 8 Bivvy (2 Man). in sept..... used once...... found it very difficult to erect on my own.... front and back spars ( poles ) kept turning in on themselves... but once got passed this stage everything went smoothly..other than the pegs.. as from another customers statement pegs not strong enough. .. nice sized bivvie big enough for 2 beds. thought height would have been a little taller... but for the price well pleased...
This bivvy is perfect for me as I carry kneel or crouch as it's easy to put up and pack away. And has loads of room for up to 2 and all the gear
